7v7 Recreactional NFL Flag Football Overview
Our Lee's Summit Flag Football program is excellent for Pre-K to 7th grade kids starting out, or continuing to learn the fundamentals of football. Kids will learn offensive and defensive schemes and how to throw, catch, run routes, and play defense while working as a team in a positive, safe, and structured environment.
Lee’s Summit's recreational league is unique, running a 7v7 format using the full width of a football field to give the game more of a “real football” feel.
Our coaches are USA Football Certified and background checked. As a recreation league, coaches will work to evenly play their players and make everyone feel as if they have a significant impact on the team while fostering a fun and exciting environment.
Rec NFL Flag Football
Our traditional Flag recreational program.
- Teams formed by LSR7 school boundaries
- Minimum touch, target, and playing time rules for equitable opportunity
- NFL Flag rules modified to LSFA 7v7 rec program
- Practice space included
- Regular Season Games (6 game minimum) Plus single elimination playoffs
- Max roster size 11
- Individual player registration & payment
- Players may not play in both Competitive and Recreational Leagues
Comp NFL Flag Football
- Teams are formed by coaches
- No boundary restrictions
- NFL Flag rules modified to LSFA 7v7 rec program
- Practice space is NOT guaranteed through LSFA. Coaches may be responsible for finding space
- No participation rules enforced
- Regular Season Games (6 game minimum) Plus single elimination playoffs
- Coach registers and pays for the team -LSFA will not roster players nor hold a free agent list
- Players may not play in both Competitive and Recreational Leagues
