7s Passing League

7-on-7 Passing Football • One-Hand Touch • No Flags

LSFA's 7s Passing League is a fast-paced, 7-on-7 passing football program designed for athletes looking to develop their skills during the tackle football offseason.

Unlike flag football, 7s does not use flags. A one-hand touch below the neck ends the play. The game emphasizes passing, route running, quarterback development, defensive coverage and open-field football skills in a competitive, fast-moving format.

With no tackling and limited contact, 7s gives players more opportunities to develop football IQ, improve passing-game skills and get meaningful repetitions that translate to traditional football.

7s Passing League

  1. Minimal Contact. No flags. 1 hand touch anywhere below the neck indicates being down
  2. The center is ineligible and snaps the ball or the ball is taken directly off of a QB tee
  3. Open boundaries
  4. No minimum play rules. Playing time is at the Coach’s discretion
  5. Available to players 3-8th grades.
  6. A minimum of 4 teams are required to field a division.Players registering that are not already on a team are not guaranteed team placement.
  7. Gamebreaker Helmet Rental is available
  8. Players may not play in both 7s and Recreational Leagues

Rec NFL Flag Football

Our traditional Flag recreational program. 

  1. Teams formed by LSR7 school boundaries
  2. Minimum touch, target, and playing time rules for equitable opportunity
  3. NFL Flag rules modified to LSFA 7v7 rec program
  4. Practice space included
  5. Regular Season Games, plus single elimination playoffs
  6. Max roster size 11
  7. Individual player registration & payment
  8. Players may not play in both 7s and Recreational Leagues

Upon registration, Coaches will need to submit their 7s Passing Leauge roster to admin@lsfootball.org.
